The Catalan Mountain Bike Championship, 6 june in Altafulla

The Catalan Mountain Bike Championship, in the "XCO" (cross country olympic) Olympic category, will take place in ALTAFULLA on 6 June.
After it could not be held in 2020 due to the pandemic, this year it is expected that it can be held without too many problems, as competitions of this nature are already taking place.

The Championship of Catalonia is disputed in a single test which will make Altafulla one of the most important events of 2021, according to statistics from previous years this championship hosts between 250 and 300 high level cyclists, cycling is now fashionable and it is possible to reach and exceed these figures.

Altafulla offers an incomparable setting for the celebration of this championship, it will be held on the hill around the hermitage, in a circuit of about 6,500m and 260m of elevation gain where cyclists will perform several laps depending on the category.

The organization by the City of Altafulla hand in hand with the cycling club of the Bikepark Costa Daurada Torredembarra, with Angel Batlle at the helm ensures a great organization and a spectacular circuit.
