Great results on BTT and Trial this weekend
Great results on BTT this weekend at the Catalan Children's BTT Cup in Almacelles, open lleida, La Portals and the Catalonia Marathon Championship. and we were also at the Osona Trial Cup.
In the Catalan BTT Children's Cup disputed in Almacelles (Lleida) our team BAUHAUS Bikepark Torredembarra was present with 5 cyclists, achieved a new victory of Noemí Faro in Pre-Benjamins, second place of Marc Faro in Beginners and a very fought part of David Belmonte also at Beginners, Isaac Belmonte and Leo Marzal in children.
Joan Dalmau participated in the same circuit that was scored for the Lleida Open in the Junior category, being one of his first races this season, with good sensations he finished third in a 3km circuit that they gave 10 laps.
On the other hand we had the girls of the BAUHAUS Bikepark Torredembarra team at the very popular La Portals race, in Collbató with about 1500 bikers.
Despite not being a competitive race Nuria Santiago and Patri Tortosa were 1st and 3rd women in the distance of 40km with 900m of unevenness, almost all track but with strong ascents and some path, always with spectacular views of Montserrat. Enjoying the atmosphere and famous characters that accompany this race like Nuria Picas, Sandra SAntanyes, Carlos Checa, Merlcior Mauri and others.
Very happy also because finally we have released the equipment of BTT 2019!
Toni Cano was in the toughest race of the weekend, and perhaps the toughest of the year. The XCM Marathon Championship of Catalonia, 65km with 3000m of slope, with many climbing and downhill rides that, with the rains of the day before, were practically impassable, and caused the average to be only 10km / h and the race would extend further 5 hours by Toni, finishing in 12th position at the Master 40. A race very epic and hard.
Finally, 4 members of the Trial discipline team participated in the third round of the Osona Cup in Folgueroles, with Axel Méndez 4th in the Open Blanc category due to a penalty of no time, no argument, participating in a higher category than the one you belong to. Ian Carmona was 13th in the category, Alan Méndez 11th in Pre-Benjamins and Joan Solé 8th in Open Blau.
