Albert Ranera wins Tàrrega la Brevet with 300km!
Last Saturday, the 24th of March was held in Tàrrega the Brevet of 300 km from the Randonneurs Mondiaux, approved by the Audax Club Parisien. Our team was present at this milestone by means of Albert Ranera, who focuses on long distance tests in different ways: road, mountain bike or gravel.

With difficult weather conditions, the test started at 6 in the morning. The hours passed, the step controls and the effects of time caused havoc to the participants. Up to 60% of those who started early in the morning decided to leave due to the harsh conditions, some of them with hypothermia.
Finally, after 320 km and almost 3000 meters of positive difference, Albert Ranera was first introduced on arrival, counting 13 hours and 22 minutes. A tough day that is one more step for one of the objectives of the year: Superbrevet Madrid-Gijón-Madrid, 1200 km nonstop in the month of August.

Marc Faro third in the second round of BTT Catalan Cup.
Our small biker, Beginner category, was third this weekend at VilaJuïga in the second round of the Catalan Mountain Bike Cup, also with very harsh weather conditions, with rain and cold, and a complicated circuit that was still more With the passage of the cyclists and the mud that was created on the roads. With this result continues second of the general. David Belmonte also participated in the same category, suffering from brave but finishing the race.

First test of the Open Tarragona XC BTT
Saturday also the first test of the Open Tarragona of BTT in Miami Platja was disputed, where 3 of our cyclists took part. Joan Dalmau was 4th in cadet, Toni Cano 5th inMáster40 and Miquel Aros had to retire for some dizziness when he was fighting for the podium at Juniors. The rain respected the race but the cold and wind were present as part of a circuit that was also quite muddy.

Àngel Batlle participates in the Spanish Cup of Trial finishing 13th in Elite.
The Torrenc pilot participated in Abárzuza (Navarra) this weekend at the first test of the Spanish Cup of Trial 2018. The very demanding circuit with very long areas and with large rocks made the participation of our pilot very complicated , which finished 13th, half board of the highest category.
The next race of the Copa de España will be at our home, at the Bikepark Torredembarra on May 13!
